-6 giorni all'arrivo della Befana!

Devi chiederlo a qualcun'altro."

The real story of La Befana

Once upon a time, in a small village, lived an old woman called La Befana. One night she heard a knock on her door, and when she opened it, three Kings were standing there. One of them asked for directions, saying, "Do you know the way to Bethlehem?" "Well. It is not easy to find," said La Befana. "You should probably ask somebody else." Another of them said, "Please, take us to Bethlehem. We have an important mission: today Our Saviour will be born." La Befana stared at them bored, then said, "I'm sorry but I can't come to Bethlehem with you. I've got more interesting things to do!"
The King said, "We all have missions in life, and that's why we should help each other. Sometimes it gets really hard to reach closer to our dreams and giving someone a helping hand means being a better person." La Befana seemed unruffled by his opinion, "I'm not such a good person then. Maybe I'll change, but not today!" she said, closing the door in their face. Suddently a light invaded the whole village and her house - it was the light that guided the three men to Bethlehem. The light said to La Befana, "Go and search for the three men. Be a good person and help others. Help those men conclude their mission. They must be there for the birth of Jesus."
Realizing she had made a terrible mistake, La Befana moved quickly, trying to find them everywhere, but they seemed to have vanished. Hoping for forgiveness, she started knocking on every door, giving children sweets and candies. After a few days, she came back home, tired from the long searching and sick. Before she died, she asked God to forgive her and for a day in the calendar in her name, so that people all around the world could remember her story and learn to help each other.
